	Fact Sheet City of Beverly Hills and Beverly Hills Unified School District Joint Powers Agreement What is the Joint Powers Agreement? For three decades, the City of Beverly Hills has had a long-standing partnership with the Beverly Hills Unified School District (BHUSD). Through a contractual document called the Joint Powers Agreement (JPA), City funding is provided to the BHUSD for a variety of programs and services. In return, the City is afforded use of a wide array of educational and recreational facilities that would otherwise not be available. What are the terms of the JPA?
	City of Beverly Hills and Beverly Hills Unified School District - Continue Historic Partnership Beverly Hills, CA – The City of Beverly Hills will continue its long-standing partnership with the Beverly Hills Unified School District (BHUSD), offering sizable funding and a variety of critical services totaling over $45 million in a four year agreement benefiting the whole community. This new agreement represents a 20% increase over last year and also includes additional one-time funding of nearly $3 million.
