Summer Programs
The BHEF Summer Academy is excited to offer Summer Programs!
Our Summer Academy consists of four programs (click on program for 2023 dates):
TK-5 Summer Enrichment Academy
BHEF TK-5 Summer Enrichment Academy offers a variety of academic and enrichment courses for incoming & current TK-5th graders. Our BHUSD-aligned curricular courses are held in the mornings, allowing students to enjoy any BH City camp offerings at Hawthorne Elementary in the afternoon.
If your child is attending a morning BHEF course followed by an afternoon BH City camp at Hawthorne, BHEF staff will work with BH City staff to ensure your child gets to their afternoon camp safely.
Please note BHEF does not provide food services, so please provide your child with a drink and a packed lunch if necessary.

Middle School Summer Bootcamp and Sports
Enrichment bootcamp courses for incoming 6th-8th graders.

High School Summer Academy & Sports Programs
A WASC accredited summer school program that offers both credit recovery and get-ahead courses for incoming 9th-12th graders.

Session 1: June 12-June 28 (no class June 19)
Session 2: June 29-July 14 (no class July 4)
