FUNDED INITIATIVES
WANT TO KNOW WHERE YOUR MONEY GOES?

INNOVATIVE TEACHER GRANTS

BHEF funds a minimum of $20,000 each year to support innovative grants to teachers across all grade levels. These grants allow pilot programs to be funded, and if successful, they often become budgeted curriculum.

VISUAL &
PERFORMING ARTS

BHEF commits approximately $50,000 each year through donations and grant money to cover a variety of expenses for all visual art mediums, music, dance, vocal and theater programs.

SCIENCE
FAIRS

BHEF believes in the value of our students showcasing pride in their work, and developing strong presentation skills at every age. We are able to provide supplemental materials needed to produce a successful fair through our donor's generosity!

PATHWAYS & CTE SUPPORT

BHUSD students have the unique opportunity to explore numerous career paths from elementary through high school, and BHEF is a strong supporter of those programs, typically only found in private schools. From fashion, culinary, music industry, performing arts and video production to athletics, world language, sciences, architecture and business, there is something for everyone!

ROBOTICS
TEAM

Your donation will go directly to paying costs such as the registration fee for competitions, robot parts, much needed tools, and more. If you wish to direct your donation to Robotics donate HERE!

COLLEGE
PREP

BHEF provides funding for college prep through college essay tutoring and professional development for the college counseling program.

PILOT
PROGRAMS

Most pilot programs district wide are funded by BHEF before being incorporated into the curriculum and budgeted by BHUSD. We are proud to support these elevated opportunities for all students TK-12 grades. If you have a suggestion for a new initiative, please contact development@bhef.org to submit your proposal.

WELLNESS &
BEHAVIORAL SUPPORT

Emotional wellness guidance through Norman Aid and Bulldog Aid, and positive behavior reinforcement through the PBIS program are vital initiatives to support the success of all students. BHEF provides approximately $50,000 annually to ensure these programs continue.
